The Los Gatos Union School District has decided to close my local elementary school. They are acting in a strange and underhanded way. I thought I’d take the nonsense they spout at the Board Meetings and turn it into a song. If you have a moment, take a look at the petition and sign it if you can.
You know why this sucks? Because this is my neighborhood school. Both of my kids went there. Now, the 180 kids that go there now will be stuck in portables next to the junior high where my son goes. This is right next to another elementary in town. Oh, and did I mention this is a 10 mile drive down 17 during rush hour?
So now not only do all those parents have to get their kids to school in less than ideal conditions, we will probably lose significant value in our properties up here.
I hope the district is happy. I hope the townies are happy. You got yours didn’t you?
